BIRDS OF BANGLADESH (বাংলাদেশের পাখি)

Bangladesh is gifted with a lot of charming animals and birds. Birds are one of them. There are different kinds of birds in our country. They are different in color, size and nature. The common birds of our country are the crow, the cuckoo, the doel, the mayna, the shalik, the kingfisher, the sparrow , the wood-pecker , the kite , the dove, the parakeet , the parrot, etc. Among them, some are song-birds such as the cuckoo, the shyama, the doel, etc. 

Some are talking birds such as the parrot, the mayna, the parakeet, etc. The doel is our national bird. Besides, there are teasing birds, game birds, tailorbirds and birds of prey in our country. There are some guest birds. Every year in winter, many guest birds come to our country. They add beauty to our country. Birds are our natural wealth. They are helpful and useful to us in many ways. We should protect them.
