Our country is gifted with many natural attractions. Only some of these beautiful places are known to us. There are many areas in the remote countryside that are little known. Shusong Durgapur of Birishiri at Netrokona is such a place. It is located on the bank of Someshwari and is close to the Garo hills. The main attraction of this place is the ceramic hill. It has a charming landscape along the Someshwari River. 

It's crystal clear water changes its colour when the seasons change. Other attractions are the-palace of the Shusong King, the Dasha Busha Temple, Orange gardens, etc. Besides, we can see the hills of Meghalayas and the abandoned coal mines. This place is also rich in ethnic culture as many ethnic groups like Hajong, Garo, Achik and Mandi live here.
