c. What do the children and women do? (শিশু ও মহিলারা কী করে?)
d. Why do they go to Eidgah? (তারা ঈদগাহে যায় কেন?)
e. What do the people do in the occasion of Eidul Adha? (ঈদুল আযহার অনুষ্ঠানে মানুষ কী করে?)
Eid Festivals (ঈদ উৎসব)
The two Eids in a year are the greatest festivals for Muslims. One of them is Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is Eid-ul-Adha. Both of these two Eids are celebrated with great joy and amusement throughout the Muslim world. On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr, the Muslims give fitra to the poor people early in the morning. Children pass the night with excitement and make various preparations. They take their bath with sweet smelling shop. Then they dress themselves in the best clothes. Meanwhile the womenfolk make different kinds of delicious sweets. After having sweet all move forward to Eidgah Maidan to offer two rakats of Salat in congregation. At the end of the salat people embrace each other to make a divine tie. Eid-ul-Adha is different from Eid-ul-Fitr in some cases. In this Eid after offering prayer the rich people sacrifice cows or goats in the name of Allah and distribute their meat to the poor and relatives. They take one third of the total meat to entertain themselves and the relatives. Thus these two Eids end with a lot of joy and pleasure.
অনুবাদ : বছরে দু’টি ঈদ হলো মুসলমানদের সবচেয়ে বড় উৎসব। প্রথমটি হলো ঈদুল ফিতর এবং দ্বিতীয়টি ঈদুল আযহা। এ দু’টি ঈদের উভয়টি অনেক আনন্দ ও মজার মধ্যে দিয়ে সারা বিশ্বে উদযাপিত হয়। ঈদুল ফিতর উৎসবের দিন মুসলমানেরা অতি সকালে গরীবদেরকে ফিতরা প্রদান করে। শিশুরা উত্তেজনা নিয়ে রাত কাটায় এবং নানা ধরনের প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে। তারা পুকুরে যায় সুবাসিত সাবান দিয়ে গোসল করে। তারপর তারা নিজেদের সবচেয়ে ভালো পোষাকে পরিসজ্জিত করে । এরই মধ্যে মেয়েরা বিভিন্নরকম সুস্বাদু মিষ্টি তৈরি করে। মিষ্টি খেয়ে সবাই ঈদগাহ ময়দানে যায় জামায়াতে দুই রাকাত নামায আদায় করার জন্য। নামায শেষে মানুষেরা একে অপরের সাথে কোলাকুলি করে একটি স্বর্গীয় বন্ধন সৃষ্টির জন্য। ঈদুল আযহা ঈদুল ফিতর থেকে কিছু ক্ষেত্রে ভিন্নতর। এই ঈদে নামায শেষে ধনী মুসলমানেরা গরু অথবা ছাগল কুরবানী করে আল্লাহর নামে এবং তাদের গোশত গরীব ও আত্মীয় স্বজনের মধ্যে বিতরণ করে। তারা নিজেরা এই মাংসের তিন ভাগের একভাগ রেখে দেয় নিজেদের ও আত্মীয় স্বজনদেরকে আপ্যায়ন করার জন্য। এইভাবে দু’টি ঈদ অনেক আনন্দ ও খুশির সাথে শেষ হয়।
