Dhaka City (ঢাকা শহর)
Dhaka is a big and busy city. It is the capital city of Bangladesh. Dhaka, standing on the Buriganga, is a panorama of city life. There are many parks, highrise buildings. Universities and other important institutions in this city. It is the city of mosques. The Shishu Park and the National Zoo at Mirpur are the noteworthy riches of this city. Currently, the city owns three national stadiums. The geographical area of Dhaka is somewhat rectangular in shape. Still the city is bearing the memory of Subedar Islam Khan of 1600 AD. Dhaka city is the heartfelt city for our nation now.
অনুবাদ : ঢাকা খুবই ব্যস্ততম ও বড় শহর। ইহা বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী। বুড়িগঙ্গা নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত ঢাকা নগর জীবনের বিস্তৃত দৃশ্যপট। এই শহরে অনেক পার্ক, উঁচু ভবন, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রতিষ্ঠান রয়েছে। এটাকে মসজিদের শহর বলা হয়। শিশুপার্ক এবং জাতীয় চিড়িয়াখানা যা মিরপুরে অবস্থিত তা এ শহরকে আরও সমৃদ্ধশালী করেছে। বর্তমানে, শহরের তিনটি জাতীয় স্টেডিয়াম রয়েছে। ঢাকার ভৌগোলিক এলাকা আকারে কিছুটা আয়তাকার। ১৬০০ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে সুবেদার ইসলাম খাঁর দেওয়া নাম অনুসারে ঢাকার নামের প্রচলন শুরু হয়। বর্তমানে ঢাকা শহর আমাদের হৃদয়ের শহরে পরিণত হয়েছে।
