MY FAVOURITE GAME ( আমার প্রিয় খেলা )
Everybody loves to play. I also like games and sports. Football is my favourite game. It is very fast, thrilling and exciting . It is the most popular game in the world. The game is played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players, on a large field with two goalposts on either side. In a football team there are forwards, half and full backs and goalkeepers. A footballer must have stamina, willpower and strength. A referee with a special jersey and whistle controls the game. He is the director of the game to be obeyed by each and every player. He is also assisted by two linesmen having their position on two sides of the field. When the referee whistles, the game starts with shouts and excitement from the crowd of spectators around the field. Each team tries to outdo its opponent and score goals. Often some players turn desperate with excitement and make serious fouls. The referee warned him with a yellow card. He does not hesitate to show a red card in case of a serious and deliberate foul. It is a ninety minute match with ten minute break. The wonderful dribbling and passing of the ball turn the crowd crazy with excitement. Such crazy excitement is satisfied with wonderful goals. For this reason I love the game most. I play football daily. IIt keeps me physically healthy and mentally alert. It makes me prompt and teaches me discipline.
